My apologies for the lack of a post yesterday, I was planning to share a healthy DIY dog treat recipe (because doggie nutrition is just as important as human nutrition), but I accidentally left the treats in the oven too long and they became burnt to a crisp! Seriously, one of my dogs even spit it out! Anyway, I will redo the treats soon, not over cook them and share the recipe.
In the meantime, enjoy these little human treats! Made with strawberries, bananas, Greek yogurt and almonds these little treats are packed full of vital nutrients and will certainly satisfy your sweet tooth!
Ingredients
- 12 strawberries
 - ½ banana
 - 1-tablespoon non-fat Greek Yogurt
 - Almond slivers

Directions
- Wash and dry the strawberries
 - With a knife, hollow out the center of each strawberry
 - Mash the banana with a fork and combine with the Greek yogurt
 - Fill the center of each strawberry with the banana and Greek yogurt mixture
 - Top with almond slivers

I like to freeze mine, but you can eat them right away as well, absolutely delish!
